          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Windows XP

          Priority: Other
         Component: HttpClient
        AssignedTo: commons-httpclient-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: michaelj.flynn@fmr.com

Hi

I've recently downloaded Commons Http-Client V2 Aplha3, (was previously using
version Aplha2).
In this new version I am using the PostMethod in a servlet and I wish to set
followredirects. If I set this the servlet fails to load, but load and runs
perfectly if I do not set it.
It throws the following error:
java.lang.VerifyError: (class: com/fmr/adf/tester/QuiltFrontEndFilter, method:
doGet signature:
(Ljavax/servlet/http/HttpServletRequest;Ljavax/servlet/http/HttpServletResponse;
)V) Incompatible object argument for function call

This functionality worked in Aplha 2.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Thanking You.
Michael.
