Ted, thanks for the link, 

I tried this below by replacing it to use ShellBasedUnixGroupsMapping in hbase-site.xml, but
still same error.

the below paragraph is confusing to me. Dose it means that I need to untar the hadoop again
after untar hbase??? Like Untaring Hbase override something of Hadoop??
