Subject Re: anyway to turn off per-region metrics?
Date Tue, 30 Jul 2013 09:44:00 GMT
Thanks for the response Elliott, but I'm not sure how to use it. I tried adding the following:

<property>
  <name>hbase.metrics.showTableName</name>
  <value>false</value>
</property>

to hbase-site.xml and then tried

hbase.metrics.showTableName=false

in hadoop-metrics.properties, but the metrics continue to show up.

Could you please shed light on how to properly use your advice?

Thanks,
Oliver

a way to turn off the hbase.RegionServerDynamicStatistics.* metrics while keeping the hbase.regionserver.*
