Subject Re: hadoop and hbase mode
Date Fri, 27 Jan 2012 07:58:12 GMT
Hi,

I have setup hadoop and Hbase in distributed mode in a server. I am running Hbase client from
a different machine.

I am getting the below the error while running the client.

Any idea what could be wrong in my configuration?

Mostly just means that your ZooKeeper's zoo.cfg, Hadoop's
core-site.xml/mapred-site.xml, and HBase's hbase-site.xml - must *not*
carry "localhost" (or anything that resolves to 127.0.0.1) in it
anywhere, but rather use a hostname that identifies it, and is
accessible by your client node.
