Subject Issues with connecting Thrift to Zookeeper
Date Fri, 08 Oct 2010 06:30:47 GMT
I'm running into a bizarre issue with Thrift and Zookeeper. I'm using it
from Ruby, and Hbase throws be an IOError each time. Here's what the log
says:

2010-10-07 19:42:05,056 INFO org.apache.zookeeper.ZooKeeper: Client
environment:user.dir=/Users/batman/Documents/Work/scribox/Darwin-x86_64/hbase

I'm really unsure of what is going on. It also looks like Hbase or Zookeeper
is using ipv6 by default, and I don't know why. Has anyone run into this?
