Subject RE: Connection Pool for HBase

Is it a known issue filed in JIRA ? What's the issue number ?

So assuming that this bug is fixed, there isn't a need to implement
explicit connection pooling, right?

Thanks

We do have a connection pool in HTable, however we were looking at a bug
yesterday that suggested that some part of it may not be thread safe
