I can't find any reference on extra parameters to the junit action, and this QA run doesn't
look like it hits those bits anyway.

Looking at the Jenkins source, I presume that this works... https://github.com/jenkinsci/junit-plugin/blob/master/src/main/resources/hudson/tasks/junit/JUnitResultArchiver/config.jelly
