No workaround ? > Make it so can connect remotely to a standalone hbase > ----------------------------------------------------- > > Key: HBASE-7219 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-7219 > Project: HBase > Issue Type: Bug > Reporter: stack > > Should be able to connect from a remote client to a standalone instance. HBase has 'localhost' in regionservers file and will write 'localhost' to znode for master location which remote client can't use. Fix. This comes up on mailing list w/ some frequency. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.4.14#64029)
