Yu Li commented on HBASE-18017:

overall LGTM, +1.

One minor question, that I noticed log level of {{Set storagePolicy=xxx for path=xxx}} has
been reduced from INFO to TRACE, but why not DEBUG? Is it too frequent in your observation?
This message might be useful to confirm storage policy when debugging (although we could also
get policy type through hdfs command, but for some already deleted hfile/wal we might have
no chance). Thanks.

> When running with storage policy specification support if the underlying HDFS doesn't
support it or if it has been disabled in site configuration the resulting logging is excessive.
Log at WARN level once per FileSystem instance. Otherwise, log messages at DEBUG level.
