Thanks for the pointer [~zhanzhang]. I've upgraded that jira to blocker. It would be much
better to incorporate the need for documentation into the various jiras as incremental improvements.

Keeping it in a different jira makes it substantially harder to get in-progress Spark support
into branch-1. I'll have to scope out how bad the gap is in the next couple of weeks so we
can decide if hbase-spark will make it into the 1.3 release.
