In case of single cell gets, once the scan (for get op) finds the cells and goes to next cell
in this row, we know we have done with this row and so SQM tells to seek to next row.. After
Stack's patch, we know it is single row scan and so we will come out. So it is only single
block read.
When get full row, we can not know whether we have done with this row until we move to the
1st cell in next row. And so we would have read the 1st cell in next row which is in another
block for you. That is why u r seeing not any improvement.
bq. It looks to me that if we have the row/cell info in indexes we should be able to tell
from indexes where are all the blocks for a single row.
No we dont have such info in our index.
