That is being tracked by 'filteredReadRequestsCount' right?  Seems that is correctly incremented.
  Ya 'readRequestsCount' which has to track how many reads happen should get incremented irrespective
of read return some cells or not..  Not getting what you are trying to fix. Sorry

In such cases, Get for deleted record, Get for TTL expired record and Get for filtering out.
