No harm leading off the issue w/ the basic problem if only one sentence. I found the why after
digging through referenced JIRA.

This issue seems really important to solve. Good find.

The whole class is borrowed?

License not compatible.

Elsewhere we say ByteBufferedCell, etc. Why then do ByteBufferSupportedDataOutputStream and
not ByteBufferedDOS?

Otherwise, looks great. How we know its working?
