[~jingcheng.du@intel.com] Thanks for taking a look. I did not enable WAL_SKIP. The test is
against a server with all defaults (so writing WAL but local fs) and then the test is run
from outside. Will try up on a cluster over HDFS.

we can read the last Increment value that we need to update.
