Lars Hofhansl updated HBASE-13751:
----------------------------------
    Description:
The current replication code is all over the place.
A simple refactoring that we could consider is to factor out the part that reads from the
WALs. Could be a simple iterator interface with one additional wrinkle: The iterator needs
to be able to provide the position (file and offset) of the last read edit.
Once we have this, we use this as a building block to many other changes in the replication
code.
