Counter per _row_? That sounds like a bug, or someone assumed wide rows only.

We're generating counter names dynamically [~jmspaggi]? How do you think we should handle
this? Option to specify what we're counting maybe -- count rows or count specific column occurrences
in rows or found unique column names?
