Then we shouldn't do that. It's time to stand by what we tell our users. I'd say revert that
from 1.1, it'll be 2.0 only. Maybe that means that we ship 2.0 earlier, that's good. :)

Edit: Unless we can have that fail gracefully as [~busbey] points out. (sorry reading down
the comments)
