      Resolution: Fixed
    Release Note: Fixes an issue where files from a split region that were still referenced
were erroneously deleted leading to data loss.
    Hadoop Flags: Reviewed
          Status: Resolved  (was: Patch Available)

Pushed to 0.98, branch-1.0, branch-1, and master.
