We can bring it back, if you'd like to keep that bit explicit. I hadn't noticed the loss of the search box; I'm prone to start with fluido's version because it's known working with the new css/js, and then apply anything it's missing (like the search box). There's another one, [reflow-maven-skin|http://andriusvelykis.github.io/reflow-maven-skin/], which looks like it's getting more updates than fluido. Looks more feature-full too, makes it easy to drop in themese Was pointed out to me by one yohan.koehler@gmail.com. Let me give this one a spin. > Update site with a bootstrap-based UI > ------------------------------------- > > Key: HBASE-12688 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-12688 > Project: HBase > Issue Type: Bug > Components: site > Affects Versions: 2.0.0 > Reporter: Nick Dimiduk > Assignee: Nick Dimiduk > Fix For: 2.0.0 > > Attachments: HBASE-12688.00.patch > > > Looks like we can "upgrade" our look pretty cheaply by just swapping to a different skin. This fluido-skin uses Twitter Bootstrap. It's an older 2.x version (upstream has moved onto 3.x), but it's a start. There's some out-of-the-box configuration choices regarding menu bar location. We can also look into some of our own custom CSS. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
