[~stack] Yes, you are right. ServerName.parseFrom(byte[]) has at least hbase-client dependencies.
So this is a non-trivial-ish refactor. If anyone is taking this up, that would be great. It
is not exactly blocking us completely, but we need to get this done as a part of HBASE-12510
some time in the future. Thanks :)
