Checkout this super simple patch which solves the problem. It leads to a different problem
that if a user runs zk_dump on a cluster with no zk they get an error. Arguably that's fine.

zk_dump but, for some reason even though the shell commands succeed, I get errors scrolling
about why it can't attach to zookeeper
