+1 on the patch. I can fix the javadoc on commit.  Will commit after sure branch-1 builds
stable again.

This patch is better than what I was doing in same area over in HBASE-12404.  In here we make
Connection once and use the one connection making record writers. Over in HBASE-1204 I had
us doing a Connection per record but was balking because untenable. Will take on this pattern
after this goes in finishing up HBASE-1204.
