bq. 1. Meta should keep 1 version (with atomic row updates we definitely need no more then
one actual version), even better make that configurable.
bq. 2. Meta HLogs should be archived for debugging

For 1., making configurable sounds good. I don't feel a strong need for 2. and again we need
to have a separate config for cleanup of archived meta WALs.
