Thanks for filing this one and yeah lets finish up the Cell convertions.

How we thinking to back Cells w/ bytes that are back in the block cache?  Currently we copy
the block cache bytes onheap to guard against the blocks being evicted out from under us.
 We'll do reference counting?

Any idea of how much slower an offheap merge sort will be doing BB#get (or BR#get)?  I'm up
for doing a bit of measuring....
