Mikhail Antonov commented on HBASE-7767:

[~enis] does that intersect with HBASE-11059? In sense - introduce a notion of generic system
table (or extended meta tables) to keep this kind of metadata?

What do you think if I open a subtask in HBASE-10909 called like (rework ZKTable to TableState
interface and ZkTableState impl) and link it to this one - does that sound a right approach
to you? Or, do you think ZKTableState doesn't really make sense and should be just removed

> Key: HBASE-7767
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-7767
> Project: HBase
> Issue Type: Sub-task
> Components: Zookeeper
> Affects Versions: 0.95.2

> As discussed table state in zookeeper for enable/disable state breaks our zookeeper contract.
It is also very intrusive, used from the client side, master and region servers. We should
get rid of it.
