You mean Y!  They are using '.' for separator currently?

We have a special KV comparator for .META. table.  It leverages the ',' position as delimiter
between table name and startcode in region name.  I suppose we could change the KV comparator
so it looks for ','.

I thought you had trick to make '.' work?
