Lars Hofhansl commented on HBASE-6368:

If upgrading Guava does not break compatibility with some versions of Hadoop we should upgrade
it in 0.94 as well (but in a different issue anyway, as this was committed so long ago).

Is there an easy way to validate whether this breaks compatibility? I can't think of any.
