This seems to do the trick.  I believe the logic is something like this.

The hbase-hadoop2-compat module compiles properly and resolves to the specified hadoop-two.version
at comile time.  There is some sort of order of operations problem where when we get to the
hbase-server module, the transitive pull in of hbase-common gets overridden by the parent
(which has a hard coded hadoop-2.0.2-alpha).
