Andrea Gazzarini commented on HBASE-7481:

Hi Lars, some questions...

what about the mvn site and the failed test? Are they directly related with the submitted
patch? At the moment I can't but tomorrow I will try to re-run tests in order to see what's

About the findbugs reports: if you want I can try to fix those warnings, just let me know.
In the patch I changed only the affected lines (basically the method signatures) but again,
if you want I can fix...I believe it is another way to explore the source code.

And last, sorry for the (probably) stupid question but is there a way for me to run the same
test procedure of the post above? In this way I could avoid you wasting time

> Currently there is no way to throw custom IOExceptions from any of the filter methods.
> For implementers of custom filters that presents a problem.
> For example there are scenarios where the filter would want to indicate to the client
that there it should not retry. Currently there is no way of doing that.
