[~jmspaggi] having an id can be a quick a dirty fix, but is more painful than what you think.
Also this fs layout with the table names "hardcoded" limits the new features that we can do
like deduplication, handling blocks to have a proper compaction without rewriting the whole
file & co, already snapshot are more like a workaround due to the current fs layout. Anway
HBASE-7806 is the beginning of what you're looking for.
