I was just trying to catch up with the express purpose of driving forward alpha-4. As a bystander, this is an unassigned blocker. I wanted to make sure that we both had consensus on what people think we should do as well as someone signing up to do that work. If we don't have both, it's my opinion that we shouldn't keep it in alpha-4.
