I tried; But it results with incorrect prompt; 


Instead of ‘>’ I got ‘*’ in prompt; Is this the behaviour or issue in HBase shell?


hbase(main):016:0> # comment
hbase(main):017:0* list
TABLE




FYI: I am using Windows OS;
