> We had several discussions at Hadoop World NYC 2010 about what sort of distributed computation
framework made sense to build into HBase on top of coprocessors. An interesting suggestion
was to provide server side support for Cascading (http://www.cascading.org) and possibly also
Cascalog (http://github.com/nathanmarz/cascalog) operators in a coprocessor; then to extend
the cascade topological scheduler with a new target for executing flow assemblies in process
in parallel up on the HBase cluster, with dependencies considered automatically.
