Thanks Ryan,

When I've used HBase or Hadoop in the past I've also gone the rsync route
because it saved reconfiguring every node and ensured that there was
consistency on the nodes. Unfortunately I'm currently deploying
infrastructure and rsync won't be sufficient. I will try to write my own.
