I'm fine using Bytes instead of ImmutableBytes.  We just need to add the deprecated to ImmutableBytes....
Would we have to move Bytes to io package?  Maybe best to just leave Bytes as utility class.
 Hadoop has BytesWritable already taken but its not what we want.  Bytes should be instantiable
so we can use it in things like Map<Bytes>.  I like that bit of utility (though we should
be careful where its used -- don't want to introduce new class instantiation when not needed
and after doing all the work purging them).
