Subject [jira] Commented: (HBASE-53) TableOutputFormat could not assign a timestamp
Date Wed, 24 Sep 2008 17:35:44 GMT

leorleor commented on HBASE-53:

I would like to delete rows in my map reduce job. I would also like to add (put?) rows and
am now wondering if that is possible.
- Should I not use TableOutputFormatter, or should extend it and add the functionality?
- Is there a workaround or a plan to support deleting rows in a map reduce?
- Is anyone else interested and should I open a new issue and try to implement this and present
a patch?
