If the fact that we use the same Callable for scanner open and scanner close becomes confusing.
 Later might make sense making ScannerCallable abstract making a CloseScannerCallable and
OpenScannerCallable as appropriate.

happened over on the regionserver but my cluster has a 20-plus machines and I don't know which
