currently you can see all the regions that a region server has open by viewing the region
server gui on port 60030
If its just for diagnostic and you do not have to many nodes this is a easy way to check as
it shows start and end key for all regions it host.

The master will give you a list of nodes and number of regions on port 60010 on the master
