Hi Manju,

No, but if I do "which ant" it points to /usr/bin/ant which is a script  
that seems to set ANT_HOME as /usr/share/ant/lib

I think I might be best to install ant by hand, and try again.  I'll give  
that a go and let you know how I get along.
