I think the problem is not that we cannot use Visual Studio C++ Express. The problem is that the only freely available version of Visual Studio C++ Express is VS2005 version. And it is true that VS 2005 cannot be used for classlib and VM compilation. This is likely to be the reason why no one uses VS2005, not the other way around like you stated in JIRA :) Build on VS.NET 2005 should be fixed some day. So I am not sure that closing this JIRA is a right thing to do. -- Gregory
