Tests pass for me on WinXP too, the build machine is a Linux server.
The failures it reports are:

junit.framework.AssertionFailedError: component has focus at
java.awt.KeyboardFocusManagerRTest.waitFocus(KeyboardFocusManagerRTest.java:84)
at
java.awt.KeyboardFocusManagerRTest.testRedispatchEvent(KeyboardFocusManagerRTest.java:62)
at
java.lang.reflect.AccessibleObject.invokeV(AccessibleObject.java:25)

and

junit.framework.AssertionFailedError: component has focus at
java.awt.KeyboardFocusManagerRTest.waitFocus(KeyboardFocusManagerRTest.java:84)
at
java.awt.KeyboardFocusManagerRTest.testClearGlobalFocusOwner(KeyboardFocusManagerRTest.java:15)
at
java.lang.reflect.AccessibleObject.invokeV(AccessibleObject.java:25)

Finger of suspicion might be pointed at:
