Hm.  We'd need to figure out the root cause there...

What was it set to?  When I have JAVA_HOME set to deploy/jre I don't  
see any problems.

Are you using the launcher?  If you aren't using the launcher, you  
are wasting time, because we are comparing apples and oranges.
