Nick, Thanks for getting a FAQ started. As we develop a group synergy, people like me can simply go to the relevant place there and RTFM instead of having to ask questions like my Java-in-Java performance question. One thing I would like to see people contribute to this FAQ is performance information per my original question back to Steve Blackburn and the (whole) list, whose answer you posted on this new FAQ. Hard performance numbers on various aspects of different designs will _really_ help us as a community get some idea of what works and what doesn't for various issues in a Harmony compiler and JVM.
