Pierre Queinnec commented on HARMONY-5114:

I'm currently trying to produce a patch that can work both on Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6. I've
seen the page 'Git at Apache' (http://git.apache.org/), and I've forked the java6 branch to
be able to work on it on my different machines.

My git repo is at https://github.com/pmq/harmony-java6 if you want to see the work-in-progress
or help.

> Actually neither Sun nor Apple provide support for Java 1.6 on Leopard (OS X 10.6) while
this release has been available for 11 months. The major migration issue will be the integration
with the Cocoa framework (based on Objective-C 2.0). At this point however, a working version
within the X11 environment would be a good starting point.
