Subject [jira] Commented: (HARMONY-6167) [IBM VME]SystemTest.test_getProperties would fail against VME while running luni test

Jim Yu commented on HARMONY-6167:

This patch is just a workaroud which removed the call of System.setProperties(null) by restoring
the original properties instead. It will not affect the testcase of HttpURLConnectionTest
and can make the failing testcase pass. Does it make sense?

> While running luni test against IBM vme, SystemTest.test_getProperties would fail[1].
I looked into this issue and found this testcase can pass if we run it alone. The root cause
is that while running luni test we would call System.setProperties(null) in HttpURLConnectionTest.
After that call, System.getProperty would fail to retrieve the value for "java.ext.dirs" on
vme. So it is a defect of vme.
