 1: I did ask some Eclipse people to raise the question for such code, for example, in org.eclipse.osgi.framework.internal.protocol.MultiplexingURLStreamHandler.

 2: On the other hand, I wonder if Harmony can simply change the name of the internal field
"transient URLStreamHandler strmHandler;" of java.net.URL (in classlib) from "strmHandler"
to "handler" to pass EUT, although J2SE certainly does not requires that.
