Subject [jira] Commented: (HARMONY-5750) [drlvm][verifier-ext] compiled verifier extension with VC6 and bundled with headers

Alexei Fedotov commented on HARMONY-5750:

>From the other side, you are correct: namespaces caused warning, and I chose to remove
them which is the major part of the change in terms of patch size. Personally I dislike namespace
usage instead of descriptive names. They are useful when you have to do with some legacy code
which cause naming conflicts, otherwise I find them harmful.

> It was told that Eclipse components should be compilable via VC6. Namespaces, constant
integer class members, type casts and repeated variable declarations in loop headers prevented
verifier from being compiled.
