Here goes what I've discovered so far re org.eclipse.core.tests.resources.AutomatedTests.

One of the tests hangs (the same hung test just passes fine when run in standalone mode).
The hang looks like deadlock. I digged alot with gdb but could not get clear picture of this
yet.

Strange thing I've discovered is that main thread waits in org.eclipse.core.internal.jobs.InternalJob.join
for -1L milliseconds (which is quite long timeout). I'll take a look in Eclipse sources for
details.
