Subject [jira] Updated: (HARMONY-5266) [buildtest][reliability] HttpConnectionTest fails when www.apache.org is not accessible

Andrey Yakushev updated HARMONY-5266:
-------------------------------------

    Attachment: internal_server_HttpConnectionTest.v6.patch

I'd just found that my patch didn't work on RI VM implementations. They demand some respond
from the server to work correctly. I've added it. Could we investigate this peculiarity in
our HttpURLConnection implementation?

Also I found a race condition in the test code. Actually I copypasted the code from the MultiConnectTest
and it also should be corrected together with SingleConnectTest.

So internal_server_HttpConnectionTest.v6.patch contains new corrected version.

It works well on platforms mentioned previously.

> HttpConnectionTest tries to connect harmony.apache.org for testing purposes by default.
I think it is spam-like behavior in not too polite; moreover it caused fails if site is not
available or proxy was not set correctly.
> I suggest adding simple http stub server into this test in order to get rid of such dependency.
