Subject [jira] Commented: (HARMONY-4868) [drlvm][jdwp] Intermittent failure of JDWP unit tests RefTypeIDTest, ClassObjectIDTes

Gregory Shimansky commented on HARMONY-4868:

It seems to me that excludes to *.interm files make no effect. Tests still fail when run.
Are these exclude files even used? I grepped in jpda directory and found no reference to them.
If they are not used I think they should be removed and necessary tests should be excluded
in those exclude lists that are actually used.

BTW I don't see why this bug is classified as a bug in VM. I am inclined to think of this
as an API issue.

> The following tests intermittently fail on runs for the whole JDWP unit tests suite:
> org.apache.harmony.jpda.tests.jdwp.MultiSession.RefTypeIDTest
> org.apache.harmony.jpda.tests.jdwp.MultiSession.ClassObjectIDTest
> I've made 3 runs of JDWP suite and got the following results:
> RefTypeIDTest - failed 2 times
> ClassObjectIDTest - failed 1 time
> The failure doesn't reproduce when running one test separately.
